Certified Director

Kristin is a Certified Director and has been an active member of Sweet Adelines International since 1985. She is one of LCV's founding members and the driving force behind its musical vision.

Kristin's creative and musical expertise gained from competing, coaching and directing in the barbershop artform keeps her in high demand to choruses and quartets both locally and regionally. Besides having an outstanding list of achievements as a Sweet Adeline, she is an accomplished organist and educator. Proud step-mom to two adult sons, she is also a vice principal with the Limestone District School Board, bringing vocal music into her schools.

- Regional Faculty Member, Past Region 16 Management Team member (Education Coordinator).

- Region 16 Novice Director Award in 2003 and 2004 (Eastside Harmony Chorus); Jackie Craft Memorial Assistant Director Award (1994 regional award); Sweet Adeline of the Year in 1993 (Buffalo Gateway Chorus).

- Limestone City Voices Director - 2011 to present.

- Assistant Director, Buffalo Gateway Chorus - 1986 to 2000 (Regional champions and international representatives).

- Award-winning Quartet Lead, Daybreak Quartet (four time regional champions and two time international top-10) and Diamond Jazz Quartet (two time international top-15) finishers at International)...competing to date in a total of 14 international competitions as a quartet member and two as a chorus member.

- Division AA Regional Chorus Champion Director (2004, 2005) - Eastside Harmony Chorus 2003 to 2006
